No one can love like we do
Between September 8th and October 9th Clarion Hotel Stockholm displays pictures from Ylva Sundgren's book - Inga kan älska som vi (No one can love like we do)
"The time between, the time when you are not in a relationship, is for many a time of loneliness, waiting and longing. It is those feelings and conditions, I wanted to make room for, embrace, take seriously in this project. Sweden is a country where an exceptionally large number of people are living as singles, lonely. Yet, I have experienced, that to be and feel alone, is something we are almost ashamed of. It is nothing we really talk about anyway. I have been travelling around Sweden with my camera and photographed people in their everyday lives and their different environments. People which not lived in relationships, at the time when I met them.
My Polaroids, snapshots, fragments of different people’s lives, together make one, your, my story. A love story. No one can love like we do."
