“It’s only Rock n Roll”
Lennart Jonasson has photographed Rock & Roll for 35 years. He has stood in front of the stage in darkness, in crowds and among security guards who want him out as quickly as possible ... Always pressed for time… At other times it’s been about capturing the just right moment at short press conferences with initially weary artists.
Lennart’s eternal mission? “Find the unique image”. And he has succeeded many times - sometimes so well that it has resulted in award-winning images, including “Picture of the Year”.
Between 7th April and 15th May 2011 the Clarion Hotel Stockholm will display Lennart’s personal selection from hundreds of photos. Photos taken for the newspapers Dagens Nyheter, Aftonbladet and from his own private collection.
